Behind Compufix is a local guy, Scott who works from home in Bishopston. He gives off a simple, patient and no nonsense vibe and has excellent reviews. Customers mention his welcoming, friendly persona, and encouraging chatty online character.
Service is very good value. Prices for repair are listed transparently on the website and he offers a no fix, no fee service. He is an experienced PC and Laptop specialist, will take on pretty much any computer repair, and also works across weekends.
He has a great reputation, most of his work, he says, is repeat cutom or comes from word of mouth recommendations. We like how he lists problem he can help with on his site in user friendly english (‘blue screen errors..’) for instance.
2. CyberCall Computer Repair Bristol
Cybercall are a bigger, slightly more corporate arrangement offering a 24/7 service and technicians and or engineers who are able to do call our for home systems of offices.
They are a well known reputable company. They like to diagnose first on site- and will then choose to repair right away if possible, or take it with them if it’s a bigger job.
CyberCall fix PC, laptops, macs phones and any handheld computer devices. Although they offer all repairs, they specialise in complex virus removal and data recovery.
3. PC Dial A Fix
PC Dial A Fic are a highly reputable outfit that offer PC and Mac repairs. They help with software, virus removal and also do smashed screen repair and general support with IT services, for instance if you are having trouble connecting to a router or wireless printer.
Although prices aren’t listed on their site, they are known for having good, competitive prices, and will talk you through pricing for your particular issue. They also offer a collection service if you are unable to pop into store.

PC doctor, run by Ben, is a highly reputable, local service. They offer PC and apple repairs and are specialists in helping to update, upgrade and optimise old systems to get them running faster and save customers needing to buy new machines.
This is a quality, honest service at reasonable very reasonable prices.
They offer a range of regular computer fixing services, as well as screen repair, water damage repair for Macs. They also strip down old devices to recycle any possible parts. Some collection, drop off availability too.

This is a simple, no nonsense service with a good reputation. PC Tech computer services offer quick turn arounds at reasonable price.
It is a very personal experience, local and with a trustworthy reputation.
